They kick it off with a pair of the favorite wideouts, Boise State's Khalil Shakir and Alex Pierce out of Cincinatti. Calvin Austin III and Penn State's Jahan Dotson are also profiled in detail. Matt starts by working through the value of rookie wide receivers, compared to running backs and quarterbacks in superflex leagues. He then focuses on how he has undervalued the size of running back prospects, especially ones that pop out during film review. In his next lesson, Matt informs the listeners how he will use lessons from the 2021 quarterback class to properly project the immediate impact of the 2022 quarterback class. The episode concludes with an explanation of the importance of volume-based projections for rookie players and confirmation of his tendency to fade players who receive a high level of manufactured products in college.

Matt also digs into how we can properly react to the rising dynasty value of rookie quarterbacks Mac Jones from the Patriots and Davis Mills of the Houston Texans. Devy Fantasy Football player value is extremely difficult to gauge as the 2021 college football season comes to a close and the 2022 fantasy football season is set to quickly begin. In this episode, Matt breaks down the results of a Devy Fantasy Football Mock Draft that he conducted with 11 other industry experts.
In the first round, he debates the value of Bijan Robinson from Texas against Ohio State's TreyVeyon Henderson. Kayshon Boutte of LSU and Jaxson Smith-Njiba, despite having very different 2021 seasons, are also top 5 selections. He discusses the fluid value of running backs currently in the College Football Transfer Portal, like Jahmyr Gibbs and Zach Evans.
Matt goes through the next 3 rounds with a particular emphasis on devy fantasy football draft strategy and devy fantasy football roster construction. He makes a point to detail his approach to draft incoming freshmen, including ones highly ranked by 247 Sports, including Georgia's Branson Robinson, Jayden Blue from Texas, and Penn State's Nicholas Singleton.
